I have always had a passion for creativity - including - drawing, gaming, and creative writing.
Having had an opportunity at an early stage to see how techniques of creating games can be applied in another industries, by gaining some work experience in an architects firm (Arup in London) where the gaming Department and 3D modelling department (which used Rhino and a specific 3D Game engine software) had already been well established, it confirmed in my mind that I wanted to explore Games Design as well as 3D Modelling in the 6th Form. Having been able to study both Game Production at BTEC level 3 National Extended Certificate (equivalent to one A Level), and 3D Design BTEC Level 3 National Diploma (equivalent to two A Levels) it made me realise that I wanted to gain a solid oversight of the mechanics involved in the Gaming Industry before narrowing my options. The course at Staffordshire gave me such an opportunity.
